ACE Mid-Atlantic is kicking off the 2014 ACE Regional Events with some indoor water fun at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA on Saturday, January 4.   The event includes an all-day pass to the Great Wolf Lodge Water Park, Five Hours access to MagiQuest, One round on Oliver’s Time Challenge, A Pizza Buffet Lunch, Q&A with Great Wolf Lodge, Door Prizes and More.  For ACE Members staying on the Great Wolf Lodge property, prices start at $40 per person, admission for those under the age of 3 is free.   For more information, check out the flyer.  If your “all in” for a fun day at Great Wolf Lodge, you must register online by Friday, December 27, mail-in registrations are due by December 24.  You can register at the link below.

Registration Deadline Reminder for ACE Mid-Atlantic’s Coastin’ Through the Snow at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town

Just a reminder registration closes on Monday, November 25 for ACE Mid-Atlantic’s Coastin’ Through the Snow at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Saturday, December 7th.

During the holiday season, Busch Gardens Williamsburg becomes Christmas Town, using 5 million twinkling lights to transform each of the parks hamlets into an amazing spectacle of lights and pageantry you don’t want to miss.

Included with your paid registration (as little as $40 for ACE Members with a Christmas Town Pass), ACE Members will kick off the day at the Fireside Feast with Santa.  This all-you-care-to-eat buffet features holiday favorites like turkey with gravy, pork loin with red onion marmalade, sweet potato casserole, cornbread stuffing, macaroni & cheese, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, tossed salad, rolls, soft drinks and assorted desserts.

Mark Your Calendars! Dates announced for Central Park Funland, Jeepers It’s Winter!, and MountainFest

Hey ACErs!  Mark your calendar.  Elizabeth Ringas has been working hard on the 2014 calendar and your regional rep. is announcing dates for three events in 2014 with more dates to come!

Head out to Central Park Funland on Sunday February 9 for ACE Day at Central Park Funland.  Central Park Funland is located in Fredericksburg, VA and has some awesome indoor and outdoor rides (weather permitting) including Jett Star.  The Jett Star indoor mini roller coaster measures approximately 70′ long X 30′ wide. With seven (7) cars, the Jett Star can seat up to 14. Riders must be at least 48″ tall to ride alone, or 36″ to ride with supervision (another passenger in the same car at least 48″ tall). Maximum weight per car is 200 lbs.

They’re Back! ‘Singing Mushrooms’ To Return to Kings Dominion for 40th Celebration

DOSWELL, VA (November 14, 2013) – Kings Dominion is excited to announce the iconic ‘Singing Mushrooms’ will make their grand return in the Spring of 2014 as part of the kick-off to the park’s 40th Celebration. This fan-favorite that families came to know and love, will feature the original four colorful mushrooms along with the infamous frog, all singing to their favorite barbershop songs.

“When Kings Dominion announced its 40th Celebration earlier this fall, the response was overwhelming that our guests wanted to see the popular Singing Mushrooms brought back,” said Kings Dominion’s Vice President and General Manager Pat Jones. “As an employee and fan of Kings Dominion since the 70’s, I am excited to see one of my personal favorites return to the park for a new generation of guests to enjoy.”
